Bath Tissue:

Saying “bath tissue” is simply a nicer way to say “toilet paper” or “toilet tissue”. Bath tissue is a soft, thin, highly-absorbent tissue paper, most often presented on a cardboard roll. This type of disposable tissue is sometimes multiple ply and/or quilted.

CPGs:

The acronym “CPG” stands for Consumer Packaged Good(s). A CPG is a product that consumers utilize on a regular basis and need to replenish, such as facial and bath tissue, food and beverages, and other household staples.

Consumer Tissue:

The term “Consumer Tissue” simply refers to a variety of types of thin, lightweight, disposable paper frequently used for cleaning or personal hygiene, such as facial tissue, napkins, bath tissue, paper towel, etc.

Contract Manufacturing:

Contract manufacturing refers to the practice of companies hiring manufacturers to produce products or portions of products for them, which allows companies to scale their production, improve innovation, and speed products to market. Services Plus, Inc. is a contract manufacturer of consumer tissue and medical tissue paper products for some of the largest CPG companies in the world.

Core Offset:

Contract Packaging:

In a Contract Packaging scenario, the CPG company that is contracting sends their finished product to a contract packager in order to have them packaged to their specifications for sale and shipment. Contract Packaging is sometimes referred to as “specialty packaging”. A manufacturer who handles Contract Packaging may or may not also be a Contract Manufacturer; Services Plus, Inc. is able to handle both aspects for our customers.
